Welcome to the Wiki

A wiki in the making for 4.6 billion years

Welcome to Wiki Prehistorica, a wiki of all things prehistoric that anyone can edit. We have a total of 186 articles and 469 images since November 16, 2010.

What makes this wiki different from other prehistoric wikis is that this site covers all aspects of prehistory, from the animals and plants to the continents and oceans to extinction and evolution. With this aim we can build a respected resource for the ancient!

What is prehistory?

Prehistory is basically everything that happened on the planet before people started writing and recording. This spans a mind-boggling range of time, from the creation of the Earth to the last ice age, and everything in between.
